PRODUCTS // CHIMERA

Chimera – Universal Autonomy Stack

One autonomy layer for UAVs, UGVs, USVs and future UUVs — across PX4, ArduPilot, ROS2 and Valeon hardware.

Chimera sits above vendor-specific autopilots and drive stacks and gives you a unified state model, behaviour engine and safety layer. Whether it’s a quadrotor, rover or surface vessel, Chimera presents the same concepts: agents, missions, roles and constraints.

TALK TO ENGINEERING

What Chimera Does

Unifies diverse autopilots

Wraps PX4, ArduPilot, ROS2 or custom controllers behind one state model. Normalises modes, failsafes and telemetry into consistent concepts.

Behaviour engine & roles

Behaviour trees or state machines define missions and roles (scout, relay, escort, hunter). Shared behaviour library reused across robots and platforms.

Safety overlay

Guardrails for geofences, altitude, speed and link-health. Failsafe hooks that can trigger RTL, hold or land based on policy.

Where Chimera Runs

LEGACY HARDWARE

Existing Fleets

Use Chimera adapters to run on top of your existing stack:

  • Companion SBCs on PX4 or ArduPilot vehicles
  • ROS2 robots with their own drive controllers
  • Simulated fleets (SITL) for testing and training
VALEON HARDWARE

Valeon Compute Modules

Natively supported on:

  • Shard – micro autopilot profile
  • Keystone – mainline UAV/UGV autopilot
  • Monolith – mission computer with AI
